What could be wrong in the application?

is what I get with MG release 3.6 (sorry for the very primitive picture); the picture is OK.
Here is what I get with last MG dev version

Black shadows that shouldn’t be there. Any suggestion about what could be the problem?

What platform? It might help if you can share the shader you’re using. Could you also specify the build nr or commit SHA?

I’ll look after the shader now. Platform is Windows. The problem is there with commit 4a38b0a (13 oct 2017 15:32). I was lucky because I just tested a preceding, very near commit, that is bbcfe29 (5 oct 2017 22:10), and that one works!

The problem seems to appear on the terrain only.

I tried using commit bd59328 (15 Oct 2017, 18:44) and to fork reverting changes of commit bd22d49 (Compressed texture fallback formats) and the terrain shows up correctly.
