Android "An unhandled exception occurred." on startup

I’ve been beating my head against the wall trying to get this MonoGame.Android app running. The app starts, the MonoGame logo is displayed, but before it even gets to the main Activity1.OnCreate it crashes with the message “An unhandled exception occurred.” No callstack. This is on a Nexus 9.

Well, I don’t know what happened, I tried everything… Finally just deleted the Android project and recreated it, and it works :confused:
