can't compile , whitespace in USERNAME, monogame 3.8 [SOLVED]

Hello, I’ve installed all like in tutorial mono and even an empty project does not want to compile
what I’ve missed ?

Hi @nycos62 and welcome to the community. There is a bug in MonoGame 3.8 when there is spaces in your user path that the content builder fails. There is a fix available for it but it will take a bit for me to find it.

I volunteer at an unprivileged youth center. We run a free game coding class (using monogame) and one of the students had a space in his user name. He was the only one in class that had a problem. This thread fix his problem. Everyone in the class was stressing over this but this thread saved the day!
