Content Pipeline can’t build .mp4 or .wmv files

Hi everyone,

I got a problem with pipeline tool using .mp4 or .wmv files.
I get the following error:
Processor ‘VideoProcessor’ had unexpected failure!
System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file…

I tried with pipeline tool version 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5.
I tried on 4 different machines (windows 10 and windows 2012 server) with same result.
I tried running pipeline tool as administrator and without anti virus running with same result.

I hope you can help solve this problem. :frowning:

from your screen shot, it appears to think you currently may have the song playing or something? It thinks it is currently in use and therefor cannot touch it.

Thanks for your answer. I found the problem.
I had changed the “Output folder” settings so it tried to override the movie while reading from it when building.
