Ok this one I think is a Microsoft issue. I have spent days trying to get VS Code working on mac os not a monogame fault I dont like vs code why use a text editor to write professional code. I want to deploy my iOS project from my windows box which used to work before microsoft decided to be arse holes is there still a way to do It? Such a shame microsoft abandoned vs on mac it wa sone of their better products

You can still deploy to Mac from VS on windows, you just need to pair you VS to your mac. Pair to Mac for iOS development - .NET MAUI | Microsoft Learn

Thanks for that looking into it at moment but seems to be issues shame ms have downgraded .net ios to a joke

I’ve had minimal issues using .NET for iOS. Honestly Android has been the tougher target of the two with how often and drastically google likes to overhaul things.

Thanks guys and close to having it working the issues isnt iOS its microsoft. Apple give much warning of new sdks but microsoft is 5 months behind. I run an it consultancy and consult to many large uk organisastions in my professional life and if any dev manager in my company was lazy enough not to keep up they would be fired on the spot by sadly microsoft dont care

its not the dev’s on the i.net OS/Android teams…. most of the devs on those teams got laid off last year. The dev’s are doing the best they can with the available resources.

I totally agree with and as someone who has been a developer for 40 years I never blame the developers but the managers above didnt realise they had laid off so many terrible by MS they need proper devs

I would like to thank everyone who has posted on this got it working. But did have one issue so will put it here in case anyone else get it on my iphone I had ios 26.3.1(a) installed this failed to deploy the reason is microsoft didnt realise apple would put letters in build number so you get the error 1(a) is invalid. Microsoft do have a fix available by googling MT1006 error on ios but my fix was upgrade iphone to 26.4
