Monogame ContentLoadException.

I have looked around and so far none of the fixes i found on google or the suggestions here seem to work.

I have been using Monogame 3.4 for a while now and i downloaded the above stated version and now i get the error " Could not load backgrounds/Background-4.png asset as a non-content file!" for any content file that i try to use in the App.

This is a new project without any other code just a single asset, be it a 3D model, a texture, a sound file they all give this error.

Did anyone manage to actualy solve this for version

What is the internal exception? It should give some more details. Did you check your output folder and content manager root directory to see if the path matches up?
