Thanks to @dellis1972 and @harry-cpp for making it all come together!

I just downloaded the Pipeline tool and it works like a charm!

However, a lot of shotcuts are bound to regular keys like “p” and “n”, making it almost impossible to name your files. Everytime you press “n” a “new project window appears”. This action should be bound to Cmd + N instead.

Haha, funny bug, It’s mac bug only tho. I am on linux so I can’t fix this bug, @dellis1972 would have to do it, but I could disable shortcuts for Mac if that’s ok.

@philip the menu bugs on mac should be fixed in the latest unstable builds.

When do you guys plan to release it for Linux?

Linux Pipeline is just not connected to the downloads page. You can grab the pipeline without the installer from: http://teamcity.monogame.net or you can grab the installer from: https://mega.co.nz/#F!yEIHGLjS!OvjruaOdTQmgmTY4RvXLZw

Edit: Updated link: https://mega.co.nz/#F!PQxCCYoQ!3LQ5JglFwFExQnXqvDIoKA

The Mac version of the Pipeline Tool is also available on the Download Page.

How do I launch the GUI in linux? (Also, I don’t see anywhere on any of cra0zy’s links to download the pipeline).

MonoGame SDK for Linux is available directly from the Downloads page of MonoGame: http://www.monogame.net/2016/03/17/monogame-3-5/

After installing either:

  • search for “MonoGame Pipeline” application in your dash
  • launch from terminal with “monogame-pipeline”
