If you’re interested in having the ability to compile your MonoGame projects directly to native code for the sake of performance, stability, binary size, or potentially improved console support, please take some time to fill this out. The more people that share their reasons for wanting AOT support, the more likely it is that Microsoft will invest in this use case.
A few notable games like Carrion and SoR4 have already shipped with the current solution, CoreRT, and it’s only an “experimental” project! Imagine the possibilities if native AOT was officially supported.
