Any tips for recording short videos of gameplay, for example for upload to YouTube?
Show the gameplay… Please. It’s so annoying when developers don’t do that. Make it your first video to appear on storefronts.
Add a “watermark” to show the name of your game. The top center of the screen is ideal and is a simple SpriteBatch at the end of your draw call.

Used OBS in the past but I now use Bandicam - works really well for me.

I’ve used Fraps in the past which I’ve always founds to be really good, it can also capture at 60fps which is really cool! Only downside is that it’s not free.
