Setup monogame (WIN 7 VS2013) development enviroment setup help (Solved)

Hi Community

I have some challenge with setting up monogame for VS2013.

so I have installed monogame.3.2 . creating a “MonoGame Windows project” in VS2013 - run the basic template, which should give me a screen, but → “SharpDX.SharpDXException = > HRESULT: [0x887A0004], Module: [Unknown], ApiCode: [Unknown/Unknown], Message: Unknown.”

Next step was to follow the docs on how to setup development enviroment. for windows.

But this i for Win 8 and yes there shouldnt be much difference in the way its works. But it feels outdated, just see step 2 :

So what is the stupid thing I do wrong ? - in my xp its some basic iam missing. :frowning:

When you are developing in an Image running in WMware - its “important” that “3D graphics -> Accelerate 3D graphics” is set to true. :wink:
