Throbax Tower Defense is a game we’ve been developing the last four years in our spare time.
It was a huge project for us and finally we got greenlit on STEAM.
Now we’ve started early access there and we would be proud if you’d like to see the results we’ve accomplished so far.

Throbax TD
In this Tower Defense game for the experienced player you have to survive wave after wave of fiendish enemies in a struggle for nothing less than your whole planet. Do you have the skills to drive away your foes and save your home?
Why Early Access?
“During the early access phase of Throbax we want to gather as much feedback and input from players all over the world as possible.
So far only our small team has played Throbax and we are eager to get different views on the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The current status of Throbax is that the gameplay is fully implemented and the player can dive into thrilling levels with different mechanics and different types of towers.
Currently we have 25 fully functional levels, 6 different types of towers and 11 different types of enemies which await you!”
About the game
The game was planned as an old-school tower defense game (like Blizzard’s tower-defense map in Frozen Throne), but with a twist.
We wanted the game to have an immersive story and the first half of it to be a circle-tower-defense-game, meaning that the monsters will not vanish in a portal of some sort, but stay on the screen until you have destroyed them, or there are 100 of them on the screen (in which case you have lost).
But other than that, no bells and whistles, just basic action, but neatly balanced, good controls and not too easy.
The games controls are RTS-like (that means, that you control a hero, who will do most of the work in-game) and the second half of the levels will change the gameplay to a standard tower-defense game.
